Young Economy Opportunities at the Center of the Debate: A Crucial Topic for the Global Economy
The annual meeting "MangustaRisk - Institutional Investors and Strategic Objectives," dedicated to institutional investors' strategies, kicked off yesterday, Sunday, February 2nd. It will continue until tomorrow, February 4th, at the Grand Hotel Savoia in Cortina d'Ampezzo. The focus of the discussion will be the challenges and opportunities associated with the Young Economy, a new economic paradigm in which innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability are driven by younger generations. This particularly significant process is transforming market dynamics, with a growing impact on investment strategies.
In the splendid setting of the Dolomites, Davide Cipparrone, Lara Pederzolli, and Andrea Canavesio organized an audience of industry leaders and promising talents to discuss the crucial role played by young people in creating value. After welcoming remarks in the Sala Dolomia of the Grand Hotel Savoia, the session immediately introduced the topic of the Young Economy, considered the economy of the future. Its goal is to preserve and generate wealth by increasing productivity with greater innovation, efficiency, and competitiveness, and by creating the best conditions to attract and develop new generations.
Journalist Federico Fubini illustrated the implications of demographics, while Professor Sergio Marullo Di Condojanni, CEO of Angelini Industries, examined the risks and opportunities of succession and coexistence between generations in company management. Stefano Caselli, Dean of SDA Bocconi, then spoke, explaining how new generations are formed.
Among others, the event was attended by: Alberto Oliveti, President of Adepp and Enpam; Maurizio Grifoni, President of the Fon.Te. Fund; Piergiuseppe Mazzoldi, Vice President of the BCC/CRA National Pension Fund; Giuseppe Longo, General Manager of the BCC/CRA National Pension Fund.
The debate continues this afternoon, Monday, February 3, at 3:30 PM, with presentations by Chiara Petrioli, "The Story of an Italian Champion," and by Professor Alessandro Sannino, Director of the Department of Experimental Medicine at the University of Salento and Visiting Scientist at MIT, on the topic of "Translational Paths from Research: Founders of the Future."
At 5:40 PM, Lorenzo Portelli, Head of Cross Asset Strategy, will speak on "Aging and Asset Allocation of New Generations," while at 6:20 PM, Giampiero Schiavo, CEO and General Manager of Castello Sgr and CEO of Anima Alternative Sgr – GWT, will speak on "The Evolution of Real Estate and Housing."
Finally, tomorrow, Tuesday, February 4, journalist Federico Rampini will hold a debate on the topic of the US Young Economy and China. The proceedings will conclude at 12:00 PM.
